The second day of your Morocco tour starts with a tasty breakfast in Marrakech. After that, the journey takes us to Essaouira, a charming coastal town known for its fresh and salty air. Along the way, stops will be made to visit an argan cooperative to see how its products are being made using some modern and traditional ways. After arriving in Essaouira, you will explore its UNESCO-listed old medina. A place that is full with boutiques, art galleries, small shops and cozy cafes. From there, we head to Skala de la Ville. Here you will enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic ocean and take photos with the Portuguese cannons that were used to defend Mogador/ Essaouira many years ago. In addition to visiting its busy port and clean beaches. Then, we will spend the night in a cozy accommodation in Essaouira.
On the third day, a hearty breakfast will be served at your accommodation in Essaouira and head back to Marrakech again. After that, a local guide will take you to explore the beauty of Marrakech. Other breaks will take place to enjoy Morocco’s landscapes and the architecture or the Berber villages along the way before reaching Ait beh haddou Kasbah. A famous kasbah that has appeared in many movies and series like Game of Thrones, Cleopatra, the Mummy and so on. This village of Ait Ben Haddou is a UNESCO world heritage site where the caravans used to stop before reaching Marrakech. And to truly enjoy its stunning views, we will take a 30 minute hike to overlook the village from the Kasbah or Ksar.
Not far from Ait Ben Haddou, we will resume the tour to visit ‘’Hollywood of Africa’’, Ouarzazate city. Here you will take a look at the behind scenes of the films and series in the Atlas Studios. Afterwards, you will have your lunch and move on to visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura Oasis before reaching Kelaat M’gouna or the Roses valley. Today is dedicated to discovering the imperial city of Fes and its main attractions with a driving tour and a walking tour in the old Medina.
After your breakfast, we will head to visit the Royal palace gate and Jewish quarter ‘’Mellah’’. Where jewish community used to live and trade with the locals of Fes. After that, we will move to Borj Sud to get a stunning general view over the old Medina. Where you can take some photos and enjoy the architecture of Fes.
